Block Party & Mural Unveiling
Ball & Socket Arts invites the community to gather on May 2 for a vibrant, campus-wide celebration that brings together art, nature, local businesses, and community spirit.
This special afternoon marks the unveiling of a new mural, Ice Cream Castles in the Sky, by artists Dora Reyes and Don Carter, inspired by the birds of the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail and the sweet creativity of local favorites like Sweet Claude’s. The unveiling will serve as the official kickoff to our participation in The Great Give (May 6–7), a 36-hour online fundraising event supporting nonprofits across the region.
More than a single moment, this event is designed as a living preview of what Ball & Socket Arts is becoming—a fully activated cultural campus where history, creativity, and community converge.
