Chapel Cheer Zone for the New Haven Road Race

Join us at the Chapel Cheer Zone to support runners from across New Haven and beyond during the 49th Annual Faxon Law New Haven Road Race on Monday, September 7, 2026 (Labor Day), from 8:30–10:30 a.m. Cheer on 20K and half marathon participants at 1111 Chapel Street, outside the Yale University Art Gallery, between York and High Streets.

Guests enjoy DJ music, complimentary pastries and coffee from Atticus Bookstore Cafe, and sign-making stations to cheer on the runners. The first 75 visitors who check in at The Shops at Yale tent receive free cowbells, and the first 50 guests who create signs will receive a $10 gift card to a local restaurant. Free on-street parking is available — the City of New Haven offers complimentary parking on Sundays and all holidays.
