​Join magician Matt Matthews for a magical adventure that will astound and delight audiences of all ages! You will be amazed as objects disappear, reappear, and transform before your very eyes. During the show, Matt Matthews will teach you one of his favorite magic tricks and several audience members will have the chance to join the magician to help with the magic themselves! Be sure to come to this incredible show full of laughter, surprises, and way too many stinky gym socks!

“Ending Redlining through a Community-Centered Reform of the Community Reinvestment Act,” book talk and signing with Morris author Josh Silver, Wednesday, August 27, 6:30 PM


 This author talk describes a new book, Ending Redlining through a Community-Centered Reform of the Community Reinvestment Act, and will explore how and why members of Congress and community-based organizations developed the CRA law that emphasizes community participation in stopping redlining and rebuilding neighborhoods experiencing discrimination.


This talk will explain:


 ·        What is redlining and how it devastates communities


·        Why CRA is relevant for rural areas and smaller towns as well as urban neighborhoods


·        How and why CRA was devised as a means to rectify redlining through community empowerment


·        The successes and limitations of CRA


·        An overview of the legislative and regulatory history of CRA since its enactment in 1977


·        Recommendations for updates to CRA, its application to other industries, and the current threats to CRA

Join us as we travel to Pennsylvania and experience all of the culture, history and cuisine that this second state has to offer! With highlights of historic Philadelphia and Amish Country in Lancaster, we'll enjoy a fun - filled 3 day / 2 night adventure!

Morris Community Activities (Morris Beach and Recreation / Morris Senior Center) has partnered with AAA Travel to bring you this wonderful wee-getaway to the Keystone State!


Some of the highlights of your experience include, but are not limited to: guided tour of Philadelphia (Liberty Bell!); guided tour of Amish Country; Magic & Wonder Dinner Theater; NOAH at the Sight & Sound Theatre; 2 breakfasts / 2 dinners; and so much more!

We’ll be spending 3 days in the Keystone State.

Your tour includes 4 meals: 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners.

This adventure includes your round trip deluxe motor coach transportation departing conveniently from the Morris Town Hall at 3 East Street, Morris. (Gratuities for our Tour Director and our Bus Driver are not included.)


Travel dates are September 15 - 17, 2025.


Double occupancy rate - $679. per person

Single occupancy rate - $829. per person

Triple occupancy rate - $649. per person


A deposit of $200 per person is due upon registration to secure your reservation. Final payment is due by June 27, 2025.
