Works Art Show, celebrating artwork that makes a bold statement. This is your chance to showcase

your largest, most impactful pieces—the only requirement is that one dimension must be at least

24 inches. Whether it’s towering canvases, sweeping landscapes, or grand sculptural forms, we

want to fill the gallery with work that commands attention. Don’t miss this opportunity to take up

Out in the Corner and the David M. Hunt Library are partnering for a LGBTQIA+ game night on the first Thursday of the month, from 5:30-7 pm. Bring your own games, play those provided, or just hang out. Snacks are provided!

Come check out the Torrington Recreations 2025 Summer Concert Series at Coe Park! Over the course of 14 weeks, every Thursday, starting June 5th and running through September 4th, we will be hosting 14 different bands who will perform a range of different genres. Concerts will be held on the outside portico at the Coe Memorial Park (101 Litchfield Road) from 6pm-8pm. Bring your blankets, chairs, food and drinks to enjoy our concerts in the park!

Rob Glassman Band is an entertaining, high-energy jam band, performing songs that often flow from one song into the next, mixing standard jams, with lots of free-flowing, improvisational jams. RGB will be performing during, what Grateful Dead fans call "The Days Between," which begins August 1st (Jerry Garcia's Birthday), and culminates on August 9th (Jerry Garcia's passing).

Thursday, August 7th, at 6:30, 2nd Home welcomes back Sherry Steiner. Sherry describes her performance as soothing solo improvisational instrumental piano music, and we are very much looking forward to a relaxing evening. Kind of what 2nd Home was designed for. Great music, food, drinks, and relaxation. Come down and enjoy!

We will be starting a cornhole at Bad Dog on Thursday nights, starting July 10th. The league will go through the end of August, with a tournament in early September. The league will play on Thursdays at 6:30 (weather permitting). The cost for the league is $10 per player/$20 per team. Bad Dog Cornhole league t-shirts will be given to each member of the team. Morris Beach & Recreation's 2025 Summer Concert Series continues!

Soul Sound Revue is by far the hottest nine piece Motown show this side of Detroit, performing the greatest hits in the true “Motown Tradition”. Soul Sound Revue recreates the dynamic vocal harmonies and stylings of classic Motown groups of the sixties, seventies, and eighties: The Four Tops, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, and many more. With all its flash and finery, reminiscent of a time when a band’s looks were as important as their sound, Soul Sound Revue’s three lead vocalists explode onto the stage backed by a power house rhythm and horn section!
