The 2025 season of free concerts in the Park, produced by the Fine Arts Connection of Thomaston, Inc., continues on Monday, August 4th at 7 pm with a concert by The Tradesmen. The concerts are returning to the renovated Seth Thomas Park on South Main St. in Thomaston. Each concert begins at 7 pm and concludes at 8:30 pm. The Fine Arts Connection of Thomaston's concert series is indebted to the Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation for core funding.

The Tradesmen, a 4-piece rock, blues, oldies, and country band that performs a deep catalog of well-known material and classics. The band promises a program of favorite covers and crowd-pleasers that will get you clapping and wanting to dance! The group first appeared on the Thomaston stage in 2023 to great acclaim.

Alcohol is not permitted in the Park by Town ordinance. Bring your lawn chair, your friends, and your love of music to Seth Thomas Park on Monday, August 4th!! All ages welcome, and the Park is handicap-accessible. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move to the Thomaston High School, 185 Branch Road. Come check out the Torrington Recreations 2025 Summer Concert Series at Coe Park! Over the course of 14 weeks, every Thursday, starting June 5th and running through September 4th, we will be hosting 14 different bands who will perform a range of different genres. Concerts will be held on the outside portico at the Coe Memorial Park (101 Litchfield Road) from 6pm-8pm. Bring your blankets, chairs, food and drinks to enjoy our concerts in the park!

Rob Glassman Band is an entertaining, high-energy jam band, performing songs that often flow from one song into the next, mixing standard jams, with lots of free-flowing, improvisational jams. RGB will be performing during, what Grateful Dead fans call "The Days Between," which begins August 1st (Jerry Garcia's Birthday), and culminates on August 9th (Jerry Garcia's passing).

Thursday, August 7th, at 6:30, 2nd Home welcomes back Sherry Steiner. Sherry describes her performance as soothing solo improvisational instrumental piano music, and we are very much looking forward to a relaxing evening. Kind of what 2nd Home was designed for. Great music, food, drinks, and relaxation. Come down and enjoy!
