Backpacking 8,000 miles on the Triple Crown Trails

The Colebrook Historical Society will host a “Friday Night Gathering” on August 21st. All are most welcome to attend. The evening will begin at 7:00 PM with refreshments at the home of the CHS, the Seymour Inn. Circa 7:30 the gathering will move next door to the Town Hall Meeting Room for a presentation by special guest speaker, Ed Kostak – “Backpacking 8,000 miles on the Triple Crown Trails”.

Ed Kostak has hiked the Appalachian Trail and the Pacific Coast Trail. His presentation will focus on his most recent trek, the Continental Divide Trail. He will share adventures he experienced and magnificent sights he saw. 

Following the presentation Mr. Kostak will take questions from the audience, after which the gathering will return to the CHS for more conversation and refreshments. The evening will end circa 9:00 PM.
