Join us for “Celestial Sounds” with music for harp, flute, and strings.

To mark the 150th birthday year of the great French composer Maurice Ravel we

present our own unique interpretations of his music. At the crossroads between

Impressionism and modernism, Ravel created kaleidoscopic soundscapes drawing inspiration from mythological realms, faraway lands, and his own prodigious imagination.

Program Includes:

• Haydn; Divertissement No. 1, 􀃸ute, violin and cello

• Debussy; Trio for 􀃸ute, viola and harp

• Ravel; Habanera, for cello and harp

. • Ravel; Sonatine arr., 􀃸ute, cello and harp

Performers: Susan Rotholz (􀃸ute), Michael Roth (violin and viola), Eliot Bailen (cello), Stacey Shames (harp).

Harpist Stacey Shames is recognized as one of the world’s foremost harpists. Her busy performing schedule includes appearances at major international festivals and collaborations with celebrated musicians including Renee Fleming, Andrea Bocelli, James Galway, Andreas Scholl, Placido Domingo, Joshua Bell, and Gil Shaham in numerous recordings, concerts and television appearances.

Tickets $30. Children ages 16 and under free
