Celestial Sounds
Join us for “Celestial Sounds” with music for harp, flute, and strings.
To mark the 150th birthday year of the great French composer Maurice Ravel we
present our own unique interpretations of his music. At the crossroads between
Impressionism and modernism, Ravel created kaleidoscopic soundscapes drawing inspiration from mythological realms, faraway lands, and his own prodigious imagination.

Harpist Stacey Shames is recognized as one of the world’s foremost harpists. Her busy performing schedule includes appearances at major international festivals and collaborations with celebrated musicians including Renee Fleming, Andrea Bocelli, James Galway, Andreas Scholl, Placido Domingo, Joshua Bell, and Gil Shaham in numerous recordings, concerts and television appearances.
