A Hero’s Family Fun Run & 5K Challenge

Run for a reason. Run for the families Behind the Line.

Join us Saturday, October 17, 2026, at historic New Ebenezer Retreat Center in Rincon, Georgia, for the inaugural A Hero’s Family Fun Run & 5K Challenge, benefiting Behind the Line and the first-responder families they serve.

Whether you’re a competitive runner, a first responder, a weekend walker, or bringing the whole family—we have a place for you at the starting line!

Test yourself on our scenic course and compete for age-group awards.

Family Fun Run/Walk

Not chasing a PR? No problem! Walk, jog, bring the kids, bring the stroller, and enjoy the experience together.

First Responder Challenge

We’re honoring the men and women who serve our communities with special first-responder recognition.

AWARDS

Awards will be presented to the Top Male & Female in each age group:

• 10 & Under

• 11–19

• 20–39

• 40–59

• 60+
