FYBS follows three puppet kids - Nico, CJ, & Mena - as they navigate everyday issues and help each other work through big feelings using 12 different emotion-coping strategies. Explore together, right along with them, to find those that work best.

Sweet Dreams Story Time
Join us with certified yoga instructor, Amie Meacham, for children’s yoga! This hour long program begins with an age-appropriate story, followed by basic yoga instruction, a yoga-themed game, and ends with a 5-minute meditation. Most appropriate for grades 1-5. Children should bring a towel or yoga mat to practice on. Suitable for all skill levels.

The Museum of Connecticut Glass open house schedule for 2025 is May 17, 1-4pm, June 14, 1-4pm, July 19, 1-4pm , August 16, 1-4pm, and September 20, 1-4 pm. October 11, 8-1 pm is the annual bottle and glass show and open house. All open houses are free to attend. There is a fee to attend the bottle show.

Come to the library to meet the animals of Furry Scaly Friends! The Furry Scaly Friends crew consists of dozens of creatures including ferrets, long haired guinea pigs, sugar gliders, rabbits, hedgehogs, chinchilla, prairie dogs, dwarf hamsters, long haired hamster, gerbil, opossum, sulcata tortoises, mini pig, turtle, fire skink, ackie monitor, red footed tortoise, dumbo rats, hermit crabs, bearded dragon, tarantulas, leopard gecko, gargoyle gecko, jumping spider, axolotl, python, corn snake, hognose snake, milk snake, iguana, pac man frog , degu's, blue tongue skink and uromastyx! This free-form style program will allow you to go from pen to pen and meet each animal at your own pace, while also getting to learn more about each friend!

Join us for an afternoon of all things crafting! Whether you want to make friendship bracelets, paint a picture, make personalized buttons, or even make custom shrinky dinks, we'll have tons of ways to get creative all in one program! For grades 3-7.
