Description

Join us in the gallery for a special panel discussion with Center for Contemporary Printmaking Executive Director Kimberly Henrikson and artists Helen Barnett and Kathy Caraccio, inspired by A Founder’s Feast: Highlights from the Andrew Stasik Archive.

Andrew Stasik (1932–2022) was an influential printmaker, educator, and arts leader who co-founded CCP in 1995 alongside Grace Ross Shanley and Michael Costello. Drawing on the exhibition’s selection of works from Stasik’s archive, this conversation will explore his artistic practice, the recurring forms and motifs that shaped his work, and his lasting contributions to the printmaking community.

Discover how Stasik’s exploration of color, shape, memory, and the balance between abstraction and representation continues to offer new ways of looking at familiar forms. This is an opportunity to learn more about a founding figure in CCP’s history and reflect on the enduring impact of his art and legacy.

The discussion will take place in the gallery alongside the exhibition, which remains on view through November 8, 2026.
