Festival Doors: TBA | Zo! & Tall Black Guy (feat. Debórah Bond) Show: 8:00p
When it comes to innovative takes on R&B, you can't go wrong with Zo! and Tall Black Guy and their next-level creations that invoke the genre's classic sound while pushing it forward. So what happens when these two guys collaborate? You get a progressive joint album like Abstractions.
The set showcases the undeniable chemistry between the musicians while inviting a whole host of their friends — including Phonte, BeMyFiasco, Sy Smith, Omar, Darien Brockington, Muhsinah and many more — to play alongside them. This means that the fellas have all the talent they need to create music as beautiful as the artwork by Rachel Stewart that graces the cover.
Lead singles "Talkin' To Myself" and "Hold My Hand" already gave listeners the tone for the project, with the majority keeping things laid-back and mid-tempo. They further explore this when they get into tracks like "The Ride," which features Sy alongside rhymers Black Milk and Elzhi. The groove here is undeniable, with a bumpin' kick made to ride to as Sy delivers a staccato melody on the chorus while Black and Elzhi trade rhymes that pay tribute to Detroit with style.
Things heat up a bit more when Omar joins the fray on "I Love The Way." On the song, the duo matches the sensuality of his rich baritone with a smoldering bass-and-guitar led groove and percolating drums. By the time we get to the Josh Milan-featuring "Connected," however, the fellas are ready to party.
They mix a bit of downtempo house into the mix and while rounding out the groove with keys, warm synth flourishes and an elastic bass line that will have you running to hit repeat as soon as the final notes play.

KC and The Sunshine Band has celebrated over 50 years of making booties shake. They gave a voice to a generation, helped define an entire culture and continue to make an impact today.
With over four decades of success, the group, led by Harry Wayne “KC” Casey, has been in a state of constant renewal in their niche of cultural relevancy–thanks in part to their music being featured in numerous motion picture soundtracks, television shows and national advertising campaigns.
KC and The Sunshine Band formed in 1973 with one single purpose: to create instant happiness through music — and the group has done just that, topping the charts with singles including “That’s the Way (I Like It),” “Get Down Tonight,” and “(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty,” tallying worldwide sales of over 100 million, and receiving numerous awards. In 2013, KC was honored with two distinct Lifetime Achievement Awards, made several television appearances and earned a new star on the Palm Springs Walk of Fame in his home state of Florida, which accompanies his previously awarded national recognition of a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame. KC and The Sunshine Band continue to tour heavily throughout the U.S. and internationally, as well as collaborate and appear with other superstars.
Harry Wayne Casey (KC for short) got his start while working at the record store at TK Records in Hialeah, FL, where he often made deliveries and completed other odd jobs, hoping to be able to spend time in the studio after hours for free. There, he met Henry Stone, and in 1973, signed a contract with TK and formed KC and The Sunshine Band”. The result was the development of a unique fusion of Caribbean, R&B and funk music dubbed the “Miami sound” — a sound that grabbed the hearts and minds of listeners and compelled them to get out of their seats and onto the dance floor!

Anthony Rodia: Laugh Till It Hurts Tour 2025
The iconic multi-platinum-selling group, America will celebrate their 54th anniversary with a series of tour dates in 2025.
Known for their timeless magic and powerful performances, the Grammy Award-winning perennial classic-rock favorite will draw on their deep catalog of hits including signature song “A Horse With No Name,” a Number One hit on Billboard’s Hot 100 in 1972.
On their way to becoming a global household name, America‘s journey found them exploring a wide variety of musical terrain. Their best-known tunes, which also include “I Need You,” “Ventura Highway,” “Don’t Cross The River,” “Tin Man,” “Lonely People,” and “Sister Golden Hair” were cornerstones of 1970s' Top 40 and FM rock radio. Yet beyond their impressive catalog of hits, listeners would discover there was always much more to America than surface perceptions. The combination of melodic pop rock and folk-jazz elements, slinky Latin-leaning rhythms, and impressionistic lyric imagery contrasted well with other more traditional country-rock leanings and highly personal lyrics.
