Born in the diverse and vibrant nation of the USA, where every opportunity felt endless on one hand and yet impossible to grasp on the other, Luis Reyes has had “the privilege of living what all immigrant parents dream of for their children, and that is paving the pathway to freedom.”

His journey was uniquely shaped by the fact both of his parents were immigrants. As he was growing up, his understanding of “feeling safe” evolved beyond its dictionary definition — in addition to the challenges and triumphs of his immigrant heritage, he also faced the personal obstacle of hearing loss at an early age. While he learned to deal with this condition, he did not let him define him. Instead, it became a catalyst for personal growth and inner strength.

He transcended the challenges of being a minority, growing up in poverty, and having a hearing disability to become the first in his family to attend college, graduating with a Physical Therapist Assistant degree. He learned to embrace his unique perspective on the world and found new ways to connect with others, drawing on empathy, resilience, and the power of self-preservation to overcome adversity. Luis joined the Peak Physical Therapy team on Chase Ave in Waterbury in 2023.

This popular show is a cross-generational crowd-pleaser, selling out every theater and performing arts center where the show plays! The band is widely celebrated and known for spot on, note-for-note recreations of the hits, B-sides and deep album cuts from the greatest songs of the 1960s.

In addition to the concert experience, the show is a large scale and ambitious stage production, powerfully dramatized by a combination of time travel special effects, narration, 60s archival audio and newsreel footage, and a light show. This seen-to-be-believed, bigger-than-life show is nothing less than awe-inspiring.The Sixties Show is a high energy trip back in time that reminds the audience how uniquely inspirational, entertaining, and historically significant the music and events of the 1960s was and continues to be.

The band uses a state-of-the-art sound system but only plays authentic, 1960s period-vintage and reissue vintage gear and instrumentation, just like the original artists and original recordings.

One Vision of Queen is an explosive, attention-commanding tribute where some of the most iconic rock anthems of all time collide with a theatrical performance style and eye-popping production.

At its core, the riveting show focuses on the extremely diverse body of the band’s greatest hits, from the grandiose “Bohemian Rhapsody” to the adrenaline-pumping “We Will Rock You,” the euphoric “We Are The Champions,” the funky “Another One Bites The Dust,” the stadium-shaking David Bowie collaboration “Under Pressure,” the soulful “Somebody To Love” and the swinging “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” (to name but a few from the steroid-stacked set list).

In addition to the obligatory but nonetheless consistently astounding selections, One Vision Of Queen also incorporates an entirely unique angle that will have die-hards and casual appreciators alike clamoring to hear several other sides of Martel. “Near the end of Freddie’s life, he explored other styles of music beyond rock, including opera, so with that in mind, the show also includes a segment of familiar songs in the flavor of what they might have sounded like had Freddie ever gotten the chance to sing them,” Martel explains. “For instance, I perform ‘Ave Maria’ by myself on piano and also the great opera aria ‘Nessun Dorma’ in the style of Freddie, so it gives the night some imaginative elements in the spirit of Queen, rather than strictly the letter of Queen. You could call it a greatest hits show with a twist where I get to explore other things that I wish Freddie could have recorded himself and wonder what could have been.”

Marc Martel was one of the vocalists for the Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody along with Freddie Mercury and Rami Malek. He has played in over 40 countries and his videos have over 250 million views. Even legendary Queen drummer Roger Taylor remarked to the Daily Record: “That voice. You listen, close your eyes and you think it’s Freddie. It’s really uncanny.”
