Join us for an evening of music with mountain dulcimer virtuoso Thomasina Levy, and flutist extraordinaire, Sarah Swersey. The concert will feature selections from Parallel Universe, Levy’s award-winning album co-produced with GRAMMY-winning cellist David Darling. Parallel Universe, an eclectic instrumental collection spanning New Age, Celtic, folk, Native American, and classical influences — has earned multiple honors, including a Silver Medal from the Global Music Awards.

Litchfield resident, Thomasina Levy, served as Connecticut State Troubadour in 2005 and 2006 and is an internationally recognized mountain dulcimer player, singer, poet, and songwriter whose performances blend traditional and contemporary folk music. Her work has been aired in more than twenty countries with performances occurring in venues throughout the U.S. and UK, including Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium in January 2026.

Sarah Swersey’s dynamic flute performances are featured throughout Parallel Universe. She is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory and Yale University School of Music who has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in concert halls across the United States and Europe, including Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Tanglewood Music Festival. She has also collaborated with GRAMMY-winning cellist David Darling on projects exploring musical improvisation. Together, Levy and Swersey bring the album’s rich, genre-spanning soundscapes to life in this intimate live performance.

The two musicians will bring the audience on a journey through some of the album’s evocative, genre-spanning pieces, offering listeners a rare chance to experience music that has been described as transporting audiences to “an intimate and personal space.”
