Join authors and University of Bridgeport professors Eric D. Lehman and Amy Nawrocki for a discussion on A History of Connecticut Food. This presentation is for every food lover who appreciates the story behind a meal and for every budding chef who longs for the recipes of favorite local dishes. Join us for a deep dive into the history of our distinctive Connecticut cuisine!

About the Authors:

Eric D. Lehman and Amy Nawrocki are the coauthors of several books, including A History of Connecticut Food, A History of Connecticut Wine, and Connecticut Farms and Farmers Markets. Eric’s 23 books also include Becoming Tom Thumb: Charles Stratton, P.T. Barnum, and the Dawn of American Celebrity, Connecticut Town Greens, and New England at 400. Amy serves as Dean of the College of Science and Society and is an award-winning poet with six collections, including Mouthbrooders, which was a finalist for the Connecticut Book Award.

Books will be available for purchase the night of the event.
