Works Art Show, celebrating artwork that makes a bold statement. This is your chance to showcase
your largest, most impactful pieces—the only requirement is that one dimension must be at least
24 inches. Whether it’s towering canvases, sweeping landscapes, or grand sculptural forms, we
want to fill the gallery with work that commands attention. Don’t miss this opportunity to take up

For the first year, we will be hosting a summer market located at COE PARK on the same nights as our Summer Concert Series. Each Thursday between June and August, check out vendors of all different varieties from meats, veggies, maple syrup, handcrafted goods, and more! Check out our full vendor list soon! Torrington Recreation Summer Market
Come check out the Torrington Recreations 2025 Summer Concert Series at Coe Park! Over the course of 14 weeks, every Thursday, starting June 5th and running through September 4th, we will be hosting 14 different bands who will perform a range of different genres. Concerts will be held on the outside portico at the Coe Memorial Park (101 Litchfield Road) from 6pm-8pm. Bring your blankets, chairs, food and drinks to enjoy our concerts in the park!
Acid Wash is an area favorite specializing in 70s and 80s rock and hard rock.
2025 Summer Concert Series: Acid Wash
We will be starting a cornhole at Bad Dog on Thursday nights, starting July 10th. The league will go through the end of August, with a tournament in early September. The league will play on Thursdays at 6:30 (weather permitting). The cost for the league is $10 per player/$20 per team. Bad Dog Cornhole league t-shirts will be given to each member of the team. On August 15, we’re partnering with Boondocks Film Society to screen the 2001 romantic comedy, "Amélie". This event is sponsored by National Iron Bank.

Outdoor Movie Night
Affectionately known as SOOP, Seat Of Our Pants has ascended to the forefront of the Connecticut roots music scene with award winning, heartfelt, and clever songs that put a smile on your face, a tear in your eye, and get you thinking about the world around you. From sellout shows at The Buttonwood Tree, to the grand stage at Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den, to Podunk Bluegrass Festival, and many of the premiere listening rooms around the state, SOOP never disappoints their audiences. The unique mix of instruments, and impeccable intricate harmonies, distinguish Connecticut’s one-of-a-kind SOOP. Their cornucopia of folk instruments and rock-infused songwriting are a contagiously fun experience.

Open to all levels of experience, this workshop explores the process of cyanotype; known for producing rich blue and white prints on paper. Using an assortment of botanical specimens and household objects, you will experiment with mark-making and composition.
