Due to the unexpected referendum, space in Town Hall is unavailable, so the Fine Arts Connection of Thomaston's Camera Club meeting at 6:30 pm tonight (6-17) has been moved to the lounge at the First Congregational Church, 135 Main St., Thomaston. The meeting is open to all who are interested in photography. Access the meeting by entering the first door on the side of the church. The lounge will be straight head of you. Every year, the club holds a Gem and Mineral Show, which showcases a wide assortment of gems, jewelry, fossils, crystals, educational exhibits, and children’s games.

The 2025 Bristol Gem & Mineral Show

• Saturday, October 18 • 9:30 am to 5:00 pm
• Sunday, October 19 • 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

At the Beals Community Center, 240 Stafford Ave. in Bristol (links to directions and map.)

Admission for the show is $5 for adults. Kids under 12 are free with paid adult, and scouts and 4-H members with leaders (in uniform) are free too.
