Chess players of all ages are invited to join our Monday night Chess Club. Sharpen your skills and make new friends while you enjoy a friendly game. Players should already be familiar with the basics of how to play. Registration is helpful, but not required.

Come explore your creativity! Do some fun exercises and explore some prompts to better get the creative juices flowing. Learn what makes a good character and a good story. Feel free to ask Mrs. Molly any questions you might have about writing! Each participant will get a notebook and pen to use during the session and they will then get to take it home afterwards. Every year, the club holds a Gem and Mineral Show, which showcases a wide assortment of gems, jewelry, fossils, crystals, educational exhibits, and children’s games.

• Sunday, October 19 • 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

At the Beals Community Center, 240 Stafford Ave. in Bristol (links to directions and map.)

Admission for the show is $5 for adults. Kids under 12 are free with paid adult, and scouts and 4-H members with leaders (in uniform) are free too.
