Create Your Own Comic Book with artist Chet Minton

Families are invited to drop in at Canaan Kids Artspace on Thursday April 16th from 1 to 3pm for a fun and creative Comic Book Making Workshop with artist Chet Minton.

With over 25 years of experience in the printing and publishing industry, Chet works across both traditional and digital media. His award-winning illustrations have appeared in a wide range of publications, including tabletop roleplaying game books and modules, fantasy fiction covers, interior art, as well as comic book shorts. 

Chet will guide kids* step-by-step through the process of creating their own comic books—from developing characters and story ideas to laying out panels and adding dialogue. He’ll also share inspiring examples to spark imagination and help young artists bring their stories to life.

All skill levels are welcome. Come ready to draw, create, and have fun! 

*Children must be accompanied by an adult.
