Composers Abroad at Norfolk

Part of the Dialogues concert theme. Enjoy a program featuring composers who brought from their homeland distinctive European sensibilities and perspectives that would later shape American musical pedagogy. Works by Dvořák, Paul Hindemith, and Dohnanyi. The historic Music Shed is in Connecticut’s pastoral Litchfield Hills. Come early for a brookside picnic or stroll the gorgeous grounds before the concert.
