Opening Reception for Art Exhibit "FAT/PHAT: Culture, Language, Morphology"

Join us from 6-8:30pm on 3/21 for the opening reception "Fat/Phat"...This utterance is rife with cultural interpretation, from positive social status, insult to beauty. 30 artists respond to the concept of 2 words that sound the same but have different meanings and spellings. The range of social and cultural interpretations include body image, oversized fashion and popular culture, spoken word, music, socio-economic status, positive and negative affirmation.
