Art Exhibit: February 6 through March 3 during regular Library hours

Artist’s Reception: Saturday, February 7, 2:00-4:00 pm


The Ridgefield Library is pleased to announce a solo art show featuring the work of artist Heidi Harrington, Faces and Places. All are welcome to meet Heidi and enjoy light refreshments at her Artist’s Reception on Saturday, February 7th. No registration required.


Heidi Harrington was born and educated in the UK. A recipient of the Royal Academy of Arts Richard Ford Award and the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Award, she has exhibited multiple times with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, at the UK’s National Portrait Gallery as part of the BP Portrait Award and has been featured in solo exhibitions at London’s Riverside Studios and Beatrice Royal Art Gallery.

Her portraits of notable celebrities in the world of UK comedy, from Monty Python’s Terry Jones to Ronnie Corbett OBE, Hattie Hayridge (Red Dwarf) and Nigel Planer resulted in her solo exhibition Stand-up Sitting at London’s Riverside Studios. She has also been commissioned by such luminaries as golfer Nick Faldo and ABC TV’s and NPR’s Robert Krulwich.
