Color Walk: Jane's Walk
Join Colorful Bridgeport next Saturday from 10am to 12pm for an insightful and delightful public art walk through our Downtown. Our May Color Walk is a Jane’s Walk with walk host Alicia Cobb! Jane’s Walk is a weekend of free, public walks inspired by the legacy of urbanist and writer Jane Jacobs, whose focus on human-centered and community-led neighborhood development has made a lasting imprint on how cities are planned and built.
The walk explores the neighborhood through the lens of Jane Jacob’s approach to community-led, human-centered design; highlighting the impact of recently installed public artworks on individual places in our neighborhood; and featuring the evolving uses of the historic buildings in our Downtown and the purposes they have served over time.
Spots are expected to fill quickly, so please register today!
