46th Annual Photography Show Opening Reception 4-6pm at the Carriage Barn Arts Center

All are welcome to attend the opening reception for the annual juried photography show.

Meet the exhibiting photographers and be among the first to see works selected by this year’s exhibition juror Peter Kunhardt Jr.

We are grateful to Peter Kundhardt Jr, Executive Director of the Gordon Parks Foundation for his careful consideration of the 600 images. We look forward to presenting the selected works in this year’s show.

While I selected a variety of subjects, the documentary pictures had the most impact on me. Everyday people on the streets, in protest, gathering, posing, and children laughing all showed humanity and dignity that the photographers were able to capture. Gaining trust with your subject is very hard and capturing that trust is even harder. A picture needs to tell a story and there are many strong examples in this selection.  Peter W. Kunhardt, Jr.
