Grow With Us- Pesto Making

All ages are invited to join educators from ADAMAH farm for four afternoons of learning in the garden! On July 1st we'll be harvesting basil and making our own pesto. On July 11th join us to turn cucumbers into pickles and learn about the science of lacto fermentation. On August 4th we'll pick flowers from the garden, press them and discuss ways to use the dried flowers. The August 18th session will focus on seed saving. All of the sessions start at 4:30 pm. Adults and kids are welcome! This programming is made possible by the Sustainable and Resilient New England Libraries Grant from the Association for Small and Rural Libraries.
