Description

Creative Arts Workshop presents Passages, a powerful new exhibition featuring international artists Susan Clinard and Fethi Meghelli. On view from March 16 through April 18, 2026, the exhibit brings together sculpture and mixed media works that explore memory, migration, and material transformation through a deeply human and resonant visual language.

In Passages, the artists confront the emotional complexities of movement—across borders, histories, and inner landscapes. Their work reflects on displacement and belonging while embracing the strength and vulnerability inherent in the human condition.

Clinard and Meghelli first met in 2008. Recognizing an immediate and visceral connection between their practices, they pledged to one day exhibit together. Eighteen years later, that promise comes to life. Creative Arts Workshop's Hilles Gallery is the ideal setting for this collaboration as both artists taught at the school for many years.

The exhibition offers a vision rooted in empathy, continuity, and human resilience in quiet resistance to contemporary currents of fear and division. All are invited to attend the opening reception on Friday, March 20 from 5 - 7 pm.
