Introduction to Monotype/Monoprint Printmaking

Explore the magical process of monotype printmaking using a wide variety of techniques and materials in this exciting, mixed-media class.

Students will be guided through several approaches to this most painterly of printmaking techniques, such as reductive and additive inking, stencil printing, and layering of imagery. Individual style and experimental approaches to the medium are encouraged.

Students will come away from this class with several unique prints. Demonstrations as well as individualized instruction is ongoing throughout the course.

Various tools and supplies provided. Open to all experience levels.

Includes one 3-hour weekly practice session during monitored practice hours.
