In honor of our newest exhibit The Great Wave: Japonisme at Hill-Stead, join us for a talk and tea ceremony. This event will have a special focus on the history of Japanese teas and tea culture in honor of our current exhibition.


About Frank Kwei

Frank currently serves as the Special Projects Liaison and Tea Expert at Grace Farms Foundation, located in New Canaan, CT. He is a 25+ year veteran of the tea industry and owned a boutique tea company in Brooklyn, NY. The son of a diplomat, his early life was spent across three continents, attending early education in South Korea and South Africa. He also spent a decade exploring the underwater caves of northern Florida. Frank now lives in Wilton, Connecticut with his wife, two daughters, and their beloved Westie Bari White.


*The tea tasting includes hot, caffeinated teas. This event is recommended for ages 16+.

Admission includes both lectures and entrance to the exhibition gallery. Historic House admission is separate.
