Blast Off with Cub Scout Pack 170! Rocket Launch & Sign-Up Day

Looking for an adventure that gets your child outside, building friendships, and learning hands-on skills? Come join Cub Scout Pack 170 for our annual Fall Kickoff & Rocket Launch Sign-Up Event at West District School!

This is an open registration event where your child can experience Scouting in action and get registered for our 2026–2027 pack year on the spot.

What to Expect:

• Model Rocket Launches: Non-Scout visitors can launch a real rocket for a small $5 donation (kits and launch pads provided on site).
• Hands-On Games & Field Activities: Meet our den leaders, current Cub Scouts, and fellow parents.
• On-Site Registration Table: Complete registration in minutes via tablet or paper so your child doesn't miss our fall campouts, hikes, or Pinewood Derby.

🎣 Special "Hooked on Scouting" Bonus:

Through the Connecticut Rivers Council fall membership drive, every new Cub Scout who signs up receives a brand-new, complimentary fishing rod (while supplies last) and an invite to council fall fishing derbies at Camp Mattatuck and JNW Scout Reservation!
