In 1926, radium was a miracle cure and luminous watches the latest rage...until the girls who painted them began to mysteriously fall ill. Inspired by a true story and adapted from the stage play of the same name, this story offers a wry, unflinching look at the peculiarly American obsessions with health, wealth and the commercialization of science. Radium Girls retains all the humor, pathos and theatricality of the original; only now, it sings!
