America The Beautiful may be America’s most beloved song. It celebrates the country’s natural beauty and makes a powerful appeal for justice, brotherhood and inclusion. But few know about the fascinating life of Katharine Lee Bates; the woman who wrote the song. Her story should not be forgotten, nor its context. The first words of her poem America (later set to music and called America the Beautiful) came to Bates as she surveyed the Great Plains and the Rocky Mountains from the broad summit of Colorado’s Pike’s Peak on July 22, 1893. This documentary examines her remarkable life as poet, professor, and social reformer; an unsung hero who was deeply committed to the beauty and principles of our country. The film will be introduced by its writer/director John de Graaf.

A show unlike any tribute you have ever seen or heard before. Broadway, television, and motion picture actor, Robert Neary creates a one of a kind, cut above the rest, production.
You will swear you are watching the master himself, as Robert Neary and the band perform 20 of Neil Diamond’s greatest hits. Songs like “Cherry Cherry”, “I Am, I Said”, “I’m a Believer”, “Solitary Man”, “Holly Holy”, “Coming to America”, “Sweet Caroline” and so many more. Between songs, Neary shares the stories behind the music, drawing from Neil’s own interviews, quotes, and autobiographies. With a surprise finale that will leave you absolutely breathless, So Good! The Neil Diamond Experience is guaranteed to leave you speechless!
Born and raised in East Meadow, Long Island, NY, Robert Neary gained immediate success as an actor, when he was 20 years old, with a guest star role in the Television series “Fame”, and then opposite Jason Bateman in the film, “Teen Wolf Too”. He has since gone on to guest star in over 50 television shows, including “Criminal Minds”, “Sons of Anarchy”, “The Closer”, “Grey’s Anatomy”, ” Blue Bloods”, “Justified”, “The Fosters”, “FBI: Most Wanted”, “Weeds”, “Medium” “NCIS” and “NCIS New Orleans”. He landed his first Broadway show in 1996, starring in “Smokey Joe’s Café”, and then toured as the evil Zoser in Elton John’s Broadway hit “Aida”. He understudied the lead role of Sonny in the Broadway smash, “A Bronx Tale, The Musical”.
Robert grew up listening, mimicking, and creating his style to only 2 people in the music world. Elvis Presley and Neil Diamond. It has been a deep passion, to one day perform and put together a tribute show to Neil Diamond like none other. And here it is.
So Good! The Neil Diamond Experience starring Robert Neary
An exhilarating portrait of civil rights activist and community organizer Dolores Fernandez Huerta, who co-founded the United Farm Workers union alongside Cesar Chavez. Huerta is perhaps best known for her work leading the unionizing efforts of farm workers in California in the 1960s, but her impact on American life stretches far beyond that. She has been a constant and vocal advocate for the rights of women, immigrants, and people living in poverty. Her deceptively simple exhortation—”¡SÍ se puede!” (Yes, we can!)—contains the yearning for change and has become the mantra for generations of activists. Dolores calls us all to action, to pay attention and to be engaged citizens who make a difference. A timely reminder of the power of collective action in service of social justice, the film will be introduced by Dolores Huerta’s nephew, John Fernandez.

Life is a continuous cycle of beginnings and endings. Yet, as humans, we often struggle to embrace endings.
In this workshop, we explore the nature of grief and how to navigate loss—whether it’s as small as an unexpected event cancellation or as profound as the passing of a loved one.
Through this process, we uncover ways to find new meaning and move forward with greater openness.
