Torrington Recreation: Bus Trip - Big E

Hop on the bus and join us for a fun-filled day at The Big E, New England’s largest fair! Enjoy all the food, entertainment, shopping, and agriculture the fair has to offer—without the stress of driving, parking, or navigating the crowds on a busy weekend.
This is a weekday trip, so you’ll get to explore at a more relaxed pace with smaller crowds, making it a perfect outing for all ages! Please note: Payment is due at registration. Space is limited and seats fill fast—don’t wait!
How to Register:
Register online here or stop by the Torrington Recreation office to sign up in person.
Trip Includes:
- Admission ticket to The Big E
- Round-trip coach bus transportation
- Comfortable ride with air-conditioning and restroom onboard
Trip Details:
- Date: Wednesday, September 17
- Departure Time: 8:30 AM
- Return Time: Approx. 6:00 PM
- Departure Location: Torrington Plaza (1 S Main Street, Torrington, CT)
Cost:
- $48 per person ages 13+– includes your fair ticket and transportation.
- $42 per person ages 5-12– includes your fair ticket and transportation.
- $32 per person ages 0- 4– includes your fair ticket and transportation.

- This trip is open to all adults and families. Whether it’s your first time or an annual tradition, we’d love to have you along!
Additional Info:
- Trip will run rain or shine.
- Wear comfortable shoes—there’s lots to see and do!
- Light snacks and water are allowed on the bus.
