Sunday Speaker Series: CT Audubon Society’s Deer Pond Farm Nature Preserve

Join us at the JCC for our monthly speaker series with guests from the CT Audubon Society’s Deer Pond Farm Nature Preserve here in Sherman.

There are 15 miles of trails to explore at this 850 acre land trust. Nature themed programs are offered throughout the year on site and in their classroom. There are numerous bird nesting boxes, a pollinator garden and active forestry management in place. Habitat Enhancement is a key focus of our operations. If we save where the birds live, many other birds, animals and people benefit too!
