Spring OPEN STUDIOS at Whiting Mills

Spring Open Studios at Whiting Mills is back May 2 and 3, 2026 from 10am to 4pm. Come and Stroll the historic Whiting Mills complex in Winsted, CT. The permanent working studios of 25 resident artists, creatives, and specialty shops will be open to the public for 2 days. Allowing visitors to visit with the artists, watch demonstrations, and purchase unique handmade, high-quality gifts. Our residents include: silver jewelry, a wide array of fine art, vintage books, photography, clothing & quilting arts, leathercraft, photography, candles, woven arts, stained glass, Gnomecraft, and wood sculpture. Residents also include a hobby train supply store, upholstery and drapery workshops, carpenters, yoga studios and wellness practitioners.  

This weekend event also includes 15 Guest Arts & Crafts vendors in the Laurel Room and upstairs Artist's Lounge.

A food truck will be on site.
