Experimental Screenprinting
Description
Participants will experiment with analog methods for making screenprinting negatives— including stencil making, ink drawing, drawing fluid, and more—as well as considering play during printing itself, in order to achieve dynamic and layered prints. In this workshop, we will also touch on the full screenprinting process including coating screens, burning negatives, registration, color mixing, washing and reclaiming screens, and more.
